I've always be...Thank you for your kind words.

I've always been take it or leave it with zombies. I am a huge fan of Richard Matheson's I Am Legend which is the novel that reinvented the zombie for the modern age and really enjoyed the first two movie adaptations. Of course, I really dig Romero's Living Dead work. I am a fan of the Walking Dead.

For me, the zombies have to be post apocalyptic. While zombie stories are okay with me, I love the post apocalyptic genre. Wed the two as Matheson did and the recipe is there for great stories. I am not following your blog :)
Yup, y...Hi Brian!

I am not following your blog :)

Yup, you are right. Zombies are the new "it" thing right now. First it was vampires, then werewolves, now zombies. And I have a funny feeling angels might soon be making a comeback! I actually wasn't into the whole zombie genre until I came across a book called Aftertime by Sophie Littlefield. She normally writes YA but ventured into adult writing with this series. A few other good zombie reads are Enclave by: Ann Aguirre and This Is Not a Test by: Courtney Summers. Both are YA books, but well written.

World War Z is still sitting on my shelf and I've been meaning to pick it up to read it before the movie comes out. But I worry that the movie is going to tank so I may hold off so I can go into the movie without ripping it to pieces!

But this is an awesome review and I'm glad I came across it. You filled in a few things for me and maybe some things to look for when I go see the movie. Definitely stop by my blog and let me know what you think of the movie if you go see it, ya know, how it compares to the book.

Best Wishes,
Mia @ The Muses CircleAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10151049901938985698noreply@blogger.com
